Hannah is a sophomore Cardiovascular Technology major from Charleston, South Carolina. She sings alto 1 and is thrilled to be Cockappella’s President this year! A small fun fact about Hannah is that she has traveled to 10 countries outside of the U.S. and looks forward to doing an internship abroad.
Jonathan is a senior Accounting major from Aiken, South Carolina. Jonathan sings baritone for Cockappella. He enjoys playing the guitar in his free time and loves biking, cooking, and La Croix (a lot). This is his first year as the group’s Music Director.
Ethan is a sophomore exercise science major from Amityville, NY. This year he is the Vice President of Cockappella, and he is grateful that he is surrounded by an amazing group of hard workers and talented singers. Ethan is extremely excited to get to know everyone in the group and sing together at prestigious events. As well as his position as VP of Cockappella, Ethan is a Resident Mentor in Capstone and was an Orientation Leader this past summer.
Alex is a sophomore International Business major and Spanish minor from Jacksonville, Florida. She sings soprano one for Cockappella and currently serves as the group’s secretary and PR Chair. A fun fact about her is that she can type over 100 words per minute. She’s an avid napper and will spend long amounts of time watching makeup reviews on YouTube for brands she can’t afford. This is her second year with the group and she is beyond excited to build long-lasting friendships with all of its incredibly talented members!
Andrew is a sophomore majoring in Economics and Marketing from Mission Viejo, California. He is a bass and occasional vocal percussionist, and his favorite part of being in the group is the process of making music in a group filled with dedicated, caring people. A fun fact about Andrew is that he has been to 48 states.
Andrew is a sophomore public health major from Greenville, South Carolina, and sings as a tenor. His favorite part about being in Cockappella is getting to sing bops with exceptionally talented musicians like himself! A wacky fact about Andrew is that he can play the recorder with his nostrils. This is his second year with Cockappella and is excited for many more!
Lydia is a senior Political Science major with minors in both Public Relations and Women and Gender Studies. Lydia is a first alto but occasionally sings second soprano if the music directors are feeling particularly daring that day. She is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Her favorite part of Cockappella is getting the chance to do her favorite thing with her favorite people multiple times a week! A fun fact about Lydia is that she is currently studying abroad in Scotland and will be joining us again in the Spring semester!
Emi is a junior music major with a sports and entertainment management minor. She is originally from Frederick, MD and is excited to be a soprano in Cockappella for her third year! Something she really enjoys about the group is that there are members from all different majors and interests, and that you can easily become a family. A neat fun fact about Emi is that she recently just traveled to California, Japan, and France, all in one summer!
Megan is a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Virginia and is double-majoring in International Studies and Spanish. She has been singing her whole life and is very excited to be performing again as a first soprano! In her free time, she can be found running, drinking tea, and browsing the nearest thrift stores.
Warren Hastie is a tenor and freshman Psychology major from USC’s very own hometown, Columbia! His favorite part about being in the group is hearing the hard work slowly pay off as the group masters new music! A fun fact about Warren is that his family has been in South Carolina since the founding of Charleston, SC in the 1670s. He looks forward to many more great times with the group and to share its music with you.
Caylee Wise is from right here in Columbia, SC. Our alto nursing major loves animals, singing, and helping people out. She's definitely very excited to be part of our a cappella family!
Hannah is a Junior from Foxboro, MA and is an Alto 2 in Cockappella. Her favorite part about being in the group is being able to make music with such talented people and building relationships that make college just a little more bearable. A fun fact about Hannah is that she has been to over 175 concerts in the past 5 years. She will go to great lengths to see live music front row! She is also the Public Relations Vice President of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority here on campus. She is known to be quite obsessed with the Patriots and Boston in general.
Braden is a Fresman from Dallas, Texas. He is very excited to sing bass in Cockappella this year! His favorite part of being in Cockappella is being able to create art with a group that is so passionate about music.
Rosa is a freshman Anthropology and International Studies major from Chicago. She sings soprano one in Cockappella and is incredibly excited to continue singing throughout college with such an amazing group. She loves to travel and will always go for some good sushi or chai tea. She cannot wait for this year and is so excited to perform with all of the amazing members of Cockappella!
Ryan Gagnon is a freshman at USC from Southern Pines, NC. He is majoring in Visual Communications and sings bass for Cockappella. His favorite part of being in the group is being able to further pursue his love for music. He is also able to juggle, which makes him great at parties.
Max is a baritone from Clover, South Carolina. He is a freshman Nursing major. His favorite part about being in the group is the family atmosphere that is created and a fun fact is that he enjoys cooking.
Denise Boler is a sophomore from Lexington in the good ole South Cackalacky! She is a pre-med student studying Biology. She is a freakin' Alto 2 beast! Her favorite part of being in Cockappella is the family component. An interesting fact about her is she can reenact the Princess and the Frog movie from start to finish.
Glenn Klier is from Mendham, New Jersey and is a freshman at the University of South Carolina. He is studying Pre-Business and is a tenor in Cockappella. Glenn is so excited to find a group of people dedicated to music and a cappella as much as he is! A fun fact about Glenn is that he was in another professional a cappella group through high school. He cannot wait to make some amazing music with some of his closest friends!
