Alyssa Talmo
PRESIDENT
Alyssa is a junior from Upper Saddle River, NJ and is majoring in nursing. She currently sings alto in the group and has always loved music. Alyssa joined to connect with other people who love music as much as she does! Not only can she sing, but she can also juggle!
Matthew Chesnutt
Music director
Matt is a senior from Sterling, VA studying Music Education! Matt currently sings tenor for the group and joined due to his dream of being apart of collegiate a cappella. He says Cockappella has been “everything he hoped it would be and more.”
Casey Obaytek

Casey is a senior studying mechanical engineering from Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Last year, he transferred from Elon University where he was involved in a cappella as well! He currently sings baritone/bass.
Mackenzie Depinto

Mackenzie is a sophomore from Chapel Hill, North Carolina majoring in Sports and Entertainment Management. She is an alto and had joining Cockappella on her freshman year bucket list! Fun fact about Mackenzie is that she was in the top .5% of One Direction listeners last year!
Henry hein
TREASURER
Henry is an M1 student at the UofSC School of Medicine from Myrtle Beach, SC. He currently sings bass and joined because he enjoys making and performing music. A fun fact about Henry is that he is a game developer!
Miranda borland
PR CHAIR
Miranda is a sophomore from Decatur, GA double majoring in Global Studies and Spanish. She has always loved to sing and has been involved in music for her whole life. She joined Cockappella to find a group of friends that are as passionate about music as she is. She sings soprano and is secretly an undercover musical theater kid.
Max Mcrary
Max is a senior from Charleston, SC majoring in Music Industry Studies. Max has been singing in choirs since elementary school and joined the group in hopes of singing more contemporary music than he’s used to! He currently sings baritone for the group. A fun fact about Max is he practiced taekwondo for four years, but quit right after receiving his black belt because he got bored!
Maya thille
Maya is a senior from Roswell, GA studying Neuroscience with a minor in Spanish. Singing has always been a big part of her life, so she was super excited to join Cockappella! She has loved getting to meet everyone and has enjoyed being a part of the group. She sings soprano!
Jasper Vasilevskis
Jasper is a junior from Brentwood, TN studying Music and Environmental Science. He currently sings tenor and joined because of his love for singing with a tight knit group of people. Some may say Jasper is a “tenor double threat”: not only does he sing tenor, but he also plays tenor sax!
Maddy danforth
Maddy is a junior from Lincoln, RI studying political science. She currently sings soprano for the group and is super excited for this year! A fun fact about Maddy is she does not like water.
Peter bride
Peter is a junior from Charleston, SC majoring in psychology and minoring in sports and entertainment management and business administration. After a two-year hiatus from anything music-related, Peter joined Cockappella to make friends and to fill the vocal percussion role. A fun fact about Peter is that he performed at Carnegie Hall during his high school career.
Brynn gianatassio
Brynn is a junior from Nashville, Tennessee studying Musical Theatre with a minor in Music Entrepreneurship! She is singing alto this year and joined to learn fun music while also creating close friendships with everyone! Brynn enjoys long road trips and writing music!
JOHN KOUAME
John is a sophomore from Fort Mill, South Carolina majoring in pharmaceutical sciences. He sings bass and also plays concert euphonium and has been for 7 years. He joined Cockappella to find friends who like to sing as much as he does. Fun fact: John loves ABBA!
LUCY MOORE
Lucy is a freshman from Decatur, Ga, and is studying Vocal Performance at the School of Music. Lucy currently sings soprano, and has always loved anything performance based for as long as she can remember! Fun fact about Lucy: she spent almost $180 on acai bowls in the month of October last year!
JONAH ISAAC-BROOKS
Jonah is a Freshman from Swansea, SC studying Musical Theatre. Jonah sings tenor for the group and joined to expand his experience and repertoire. He also plays the tenor saxophone and is secretly obsessed with the game Overwatch.
WALKER GOLDSMITH
Walker is a sophomore from Sandy Springs, Georgia studying Music Industries. He sings bass in the group, and joined because of his love for acappella. According to Walker, Cockappella has been the best group of people he’s ever met and has had some of the best music he’s ever been a part of making!

Alyssa is a junior from Massapequa, New York and is majoring in music education. Alyssa joined Cockappella to try something new and meet more people who love music! She sings alto in the group and is so excited for this year!
GRADY VASILEVSKIS
Grady is in his Freshman year at USC, and is majoring in Vocal Performance and Biology. Most days, you can find Grady on campus at the local sandwich store, Beezers. He sings baritone in Concert choir and will be singing tenor when performing with Cockappella!
